We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of what to bring to ensure you are fully equipped for your time in the mountains.

Bring your own for personal prayer and to use during the service.
Warm Layers
December in the mountains can be cold. Pack warm layers, a winter coat, and an extra blanket.

Bed and bath linens are not provided. Please bring your own bedding, pillow, towels, and washcloth.

Bring your personal Bible for Bible journaling and personal reflection during the retreat.
Comfortable Clothing
Comfortable clothes for walking, hiking, and the retreat schedule. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Personal Toiletries
Bring your own shampoo, soap, and other personal hygiene items. We recommend a small day bag.

Forest Home is a walkable campus. A flashlight or headlamp is essential for safety during the night.
Personal Medications
Bring any prescription medications or personal health items you may need during the retreat.
Meals & Dietary Needs
The retreat menu is planned to be vegan in observance of the Nativity Fast. Please disclose any allergies or dietary restrictions during registration. Forest Home can commonly accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-intolerance, and egg-allergy needs, and its kitchens are nut-free. However, no website copy should guarantee a completely allergen-free environment or eliminate the possibility of cross-contact.
